The well-established butchers, Kennedy's, famed for its sausages, is closing down after 130 years of business. The filmmakers talk to the regulars and the manager, Bill, who must prepare to start a new life after working there for 40 years. This film is an insight into how British traditions, such as traditional butchers, are being lost to a modern society and supermarket culture. Made as part of a Mediabox funded collaboration between Greenwich Community College, Postcode Films and the Royal Anthropological Institute. Several of the participants went on to study anthropology at university, partly as a result of the course.
